Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tilbury Golf Academy ("we", "us", or "the Academy") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or take part in our programs, leagues, events, lessons, and shop.

1. Who We Are

Tilbury Golf Academy is an indoor golf facility located at 655 West State Road 120, Suite C27, Fremont, IN 46737. We offer simulator rentals, private instruction, club fitting, leagues, events, junior programs, and a pro shop.

If you have any questions about this policy or about your information, contact us at jessica@tilburygolfacademy.com or 260-667-1159.

2. Information You Give Us

We collect information that you choose to provide to us. This happens in a few ways:

  • League and event registration: names, phone numbers, email addresses, and playing preferences (such as tee selection) for each registered player.
  • Online forms on this site (bookings, league and event sign-ups, and junior registration) send the details you enter directly to our staff system, where we keep them to run the program or booking you signed up for.
  • Contact by phone, email, or in person, including questions about lessons, fittings, programs, or products.
  • Junior registration, completed by a parent or legal guardian: the parent's name, phone number, and email address; the junior golfer's name, age, and gender; whether the junior has their own clubs; an emergency contact's name and phone number; the parent's answer to our photo permission question; and, for Trade In & Trade Up, club sizing measurements.

3. Information Collected Automatically

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly measurement service, to understand how the website is used. It counts visits and page views in aggregate and records the page viewed, the site that referred you, your country or region, and your device and browser type. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not build a profile of you: we see totals, never individual visitors. When you complete an action such as submitting a booking or registration form, it may record that the action happened, but never the details you entered. We do not run advertising trackers.

Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when you visit, which can include your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. These logs exist to operate the site, measure reliability, and protect against abuse.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Organize and run leagues, events, lessons, fittings, and junior programs, including scheduling, scoring, and contacting participants about the programs they signed up for.
  • Reach a junior golfer's emergency contact if something happens during a lesson, class, or program. We use emergency contact details only for that purpose.
  • Respond to questions and requests.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website.
  • Protect the safety and security of our facility, staff, and guests.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

5. Text Messages and Email

When you book a bay, lesson, fitting, or putting session, or register for a league, event, or junior program, and give us a phone number and email address, we may use them to send confirmations, reminders, and changes about that booking or program. These messages are part of the service you asked for. Reply STOP to any text to stop them; we will then confirm the booking by phone or email instead.

We send offers and news by text or email only if you check the marketing box on a form or tell our staff you want them. That box is optional and is never required to book or register. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or reply HELP for help. You can also opt out by contacting us at 260-667-1159 or jessica@tilburygolfacademy.com.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share your phone number, your text messaging consent, or any opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared. Messages are delivered through a text messaging provider acting only on our behalf.

6. League Scoring and Results

Our leagues use Golf League Guru for scoring and results. Player names, team names, scores, and standings are part of how a league works, and may be visible to other league participants both in the facility and through the scoring service. If you have concerns about how your name appears in league results, let us know and we will work with you.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Parts of our website link to services run by other companies. When you use them, their privacy policies apply, not this one. We encourage you to review their policies:

  • Vercel, which hosts this website and provides our cookie-free, aggregated visitor analytics.
  • PGA.com, which handles registration for certain junior programs.
  • YouTube, Google Maps, Facebook, and Instagram, which we link to for videos, directions, and social updates.

8. Children's Privacy

Junior golfers are an important part of the Academy, and we take their privacy seriously.

Our website is a general audience site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Registration for junior programs is completed by a parent or legal guardian, either through the junior registration form on this site, through PGA.com, by phone, or in person. Any information we hold about a junior golfer (such as a name, age, gender, emergency contact, or club sizing) is provided to us by that parent or guardian for the purpose of running the program, and is seen only by our staff.

A parent or legal guardian may contact us at any time to review the information we hold about their child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will honor those requests except where we are required to keep records by law.

Our junior registration form asks whether we may take and use photos of your child online (on this website and our social media) and in our store. We only use photos of junior golfers whose parent or guardian answered Yes, and answering No never affects registration. You can change your answer at any time by contacting us. If you withdraw permission, we will stop using new photos of your child and remove the ones we control, such as posts on our website and social media accounts, where reasonably possible. We cannot recall copies that others have already shared.

9. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We share information only as needed to run our programs and website:

  • With service providers that help us operate, such as our website hosting provider, the booking service, the league scoring service, and the provider that delivers our text messages and emails. They act only on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Academy, our guests, or others.
  • In connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to the transferred information.

10. Data Retention

We keep registration and correspondence records for as long as they are needed to run the relevant program and for ordinary business record keeping, then delete or archive them. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Choices and Rights

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you about anything other than a program you are actively registered in. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text we send; reply HELP for help. We will respond to reasonable requests promptly.

13. Changes to This Policy

If we add features that change how information is collected (for example, online accounts or online purchasing), we will update this policy and change the date at the top. Continued use of the site after an update means the updated policy applies.
